Love it! Can't wait to try.

I'm going to shelve the idea and try to carefully blow out an egg or two when I bake throughout the year. See what old ties I can gather from friends and family and then make them next year.

Growing up my Mom would blow out a few eggs each year and we'd dye and glue on sequins, glitter and small beads. We'd glue ribbons around them.

Each spring my brother and I would look for a good branch with lots of smaller branches on it for our "Egg Tree". The branch would get stuck in a foam piece in a flower pot (or maybe a decorated coffee can now that I think about it) with easter grass on top.

We also added tiny little fluffy cotton ball chicks with wiry little feet wrapped around the branches. They were my favorite part - I'll have to look for a way to make them too.
