Virgin Gorda, Nevis, Tortola, or St. Barts?
I'm planning a quick trip for DH and I as a babymoon so we'd like something I can enjoy as well.
These are just islands I've always wanted to go to in the Caribbean. Any preference for one over another? Where did you stay? Other suggestions?
TIA!

Re: Virgin Gorda, Nevis, Tortola, or St. Barts?
DH and I have been to Virgin Gorda and Nevis.
In Virgin Gorda we stayed at Little Dix Bay. It's a Rosewood property. We had a great time. Beautiful island, with fun day snorkling and private beach trips available. But definitley on the quiet side. Keep in mind the rooms do not have locks on the doors nor do they have TV's. We didn't mind, but some folks do.
In Nevis we stayed at the Four Seasons. Loved it! A little more going on in terms of live music at the bar at night, etc... Also I think it may be bigger than Little Dix.
Honestly we would go back to both, had great times at both places. If I recall correctly, we had to take a boat to both locations. We arrived in St. Kitts for Nevis and Tortola for Little Dix. Boat transportation was arranged through each hotel and was such a nice way to arrive. So relaxing...

Re: Virgin Gorda, Nevis, Tortola, or St. Barts?
I have only been to St Barts (my honeymoon) so I dont know anything about the others but St Barts is my favorite Carribean island!!
No other island compares to it...the people, the shopping, the food, the hotels, the beaches....all amazing!!! you feel like you are in the French Rivera and not the Carribean...we ran into David Letterman at Dior and Judy Dench while pumping gas at a as gas station (rent a car-a must!!)..always someone famous around...
It is very expensive...average hotel room is $500 a night and up....currency is Euro....but its all worth it!!! we took a ferry from St Martin which was about 2h..
Love love love it and can't wait to go back!

Re: Virgin Gorda, Nevis, Tortola, or St. Barts?
SO funny when we were planning our HM we were seriously considering The Four Season in Nevis and Little Dix Bay as well in Virgin Gorda.
Both look AMAZING. We also considered Peter Island Resort on Peter ISland.
We wound up going to Cuisinart In Anguilla, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!
Another place to consider! Sounds like an awesome babymoon whatever you decide!!!

I went to Tortolla on a cruise, I would not go there for a vacation. I wasn't impressed.

Re: Virgin Gorda, Nevis, Tortola, or St. Barts?
I wanted to add that we did 1 week in Anguilla at Cap Juluca and 1 week in St Barts for our honemoon...since others posted about Anguilla, it is an island to consider...again, not cheap...
Anguilla has the most amazing water (beaches) I have seen (and sand - soft like baby powder)..better than Aruba, Bahamas etc....but it was boring, absolutely nothing to do (besides great restaurants and beach)..no night life and the town is almost non existent....people go there to "disappear" and it is a great island for a romantic few days....!!
