3D Sono; how many weeks?
What is the best time to go for a 3d sono? I am currently 21 weeks; I have heard around 25? Is that correct?

I think as early as 16 weeks. I did my first one at 18 weeks it was awesome very scrawny tho lol!

DH & I went to Little 3D Wonders on Saturday (I was 19w 2d) just for the gender determination. (My level 2 is on Wed, but DH may not be able to make it)
Baby wouldnt cooperate, so we didnt get a definite answer on gender, but Melissa (owner/tech) was soo patient! Our 10-15 min sono turned into 1 hr+! She even kept switching it to 3D to help her figure out what the baby was doing - so we got a lil sneak peak of the baby's face :) And for 19 weeks, it definitely looked like a baby (and not an alien ;)
I definitely recommend them & if we do get a 3D sono, we will be going back there.

I went to a 3d place for my gender reveal at 17 weeks. You can see the baby, but its tiny and a lil odd looking still. They told me for the best results of an actual 3d sono to come back inbetween weeks 30-36 when the baby is fatter.

Thank you for all your repsonses. I think we will hold off until closer to 30 weeks to get it done. Also, I only want to have it done once...I think we are going to try Impact in East Meadow.
