Good Concealer
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and had a question for everyone. Can anyone recommend a good concealer that won't break the bank for dark under eye circles. I've tried Mary Kay and CoverFx, but neither seems to give me the coverage I'm looking for.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Good Concealer
I have a really bad dark circle issue and I have tried sooooooo many! I think I have tried everything out there, some are too thick, some are too thin, some last for 5 min, some last all day but set in lines and get all dry. Haven't found a perfect one yet , but I REALLY like Mac studio finish and Benefit erase paste. But I like Mac more and have been using it lately. I heard a lot of good things about LM secret concealer , I asked for a sample the other day and not really happy with it, it covers up well, but it's very thick, sets in lines and gets cakey . But I also have dry skin under my eyes, so if you don't have dry skin it might work. You could always ask for samples at Sephora and try few .

Re: Good Concealer
Thank you! I'm going to try Mac, as I do have dry skin under my eyes and my concealer now does the same thing, dries out and I get set in lines.

Re: Good Concealer
I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and just recently started using Laura Mercier's Secret Concealer based on recommendations on this board. Here it is: LM Concealer
I only have one word to describe the product: AMAZING! I also have dry skin and this product is SO creamy, it never settles into lines and looks really natural while providing excellent coverage. It's really the BEST thing ever! The only downside is that I can only use it for under eye area because on the rest of my face it looks too orange. So, i also have a little sample of Makeup Forever concealer for an occasional blemish.

Re: Good Concealer
I started using MAC Pro Longwear under my eyes and I loooove it.
It's a thin formula with great coverage and totally buildable. I hate those white circles you get from a light concealer so I went with the NW20 even though I need an NW15 concealer for the rest of my face. It looks perfect.
Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer in DEA also came highly recommended and while I will use it on the rest of my face, it's too light and too dry to use under my eyes.

Re: Good Concealer
If you're still looking, try the Bobbi Brown Corrector. It's the best shade/coverage I've ever used.

Re: Good Concealer
Believe it or not I started using the Sonia Kashuk ones from target since I'm really watching my money now. They are great quality and I can not complain for the price!

Re: Good Concealer
I use two..yes that's how bad it is. I use Bobbi Brown corrector and amazing cosmetics concealer.
sometimes I can just go out of the house with just some concealer..that's the only part of my face that bugs me.

Re: Good Concealer
Thank you. I'm going to add that one to my list. I cannot leave the house without some sort of concealer, otherwise I look like I'm sick, LOL. In desperation, because I ran out of what I had, I bought Physician's Formula under eye circle corrector, but it doesn't work. I hope Rite Aid will take it back, LOL.

I agree.. I use MAC and use benefit erase paste as well. MAC is a little dry. I also tried LM but that was way too dry, a combo of Mac and benefit is what works for me. Also, I try to use a corrector first. BB makes one, it tones the under eye area and then I apply concealer.

Re: Good Concealer
Lancome Teint Miracle is my favorite. I have uneven skin tone, acne and acne scars and many people think my skin is clear because this foundation works so well...
For a cheaper version, I buy the Maybelline FIT foundation, which works decently, but I definitely prefer the Lancome.

Re: Good Concealer
Yves Saint Laurent Radient Touch concealer is amazing! I was accosted by a makeup counter person during the holidays and she put it on me and I was suckered into buying it, and 1.5 years later I am still using the same tube (a little goes a long way)...I am not good with makeup at all, and it makes me look AWAKE.

link see Iheard so many GREAT things about this, everyone was raving when it first came out, so I got one and it didn't do a thing for me I think this is perfect for someone who has so,so dark circle issue, but for someone like me who has major dark circles doesn't do much. It looks good for about 30 min and that's it, even after doing few layers of it then it was finished before I knew it , didn't even last me a month. But I have to say It works so well for my friend, she swears by it and has been using it for years now. Also gave one to my sister a while back and she loves it.
