DH and the twins..
Answering another question on here makes me ask this...
How often does your DH take the twins out without you?
DH is a great Daddy, but I can literally count on one hand how many times he has taken the boys out without me and my kids are 7 months old!

How often does your DH take the twins out without you?
DH is a great Daddy, but I can literally count on one hand how many times he has taken the boys out without me and my kids are 7 months old!
MY guys are almost 5 months old & DH has NEVER gone out without me with the twins. I wouldn't expect him to. Where can he go? Maybe with summer coming he could take them to the park, but then again I don't even think they can sit in swing. When they get bigger, I think he will do it often so he can go to ball games or whatever. Did you want y our husband to take kids out?

I can top that.....my twins are 18 months and DH has NEVER taken them anywhere by himself. This aisde he's still an awesome daddy.

My twins are 6 months and DW has only taken them some place once by herself, and it was the pediatrician bc I was at work. Otherwise I think they would not have gone anywhere.

He has never taken them out by himself and them are 6 1/2 months old.
He is alone with them on Saturdays when I'm at work. I leave him the stroller, suggest he goes out for a walk if it's nice. Or take them to the park. Or to visit his parents.
But he is truly super-dad in all the other ways.

Are you a stay at home dad?
To the above poster. I take my kids everywhere alone, park, gymboree, library, play dates, doctors, family/friends houses, shopping, etc. He would never attempt to do things like this without me. When I have gone out, he rather just stay home with them. My gf husband takes their son to gymboree every sat. I am wondering if it were just one, if he would be more confident to venture outside

DH has taken the triplets out many times without me...usually when I am working. He will take them for a walk to the park, or to MIL and or SIL house....I rather when he has them to takes them out bc when they are home the house looks like a bomb went off with every freakin toy out on the floor....I am very lucky bc DH has been doing things since day 1 with them....

No I'm the mom that was pregnant with them. My wife is the mom that stays home with them.

My DH is a SAHD, so he takes the boys everywhere w/ him! It will be interesting to see how he handles adding a newborn to the mix in a few weeks!

My triplet are 8 1/2 months and my DH has NEVER taken them out without me. He will stay home and watch them alone (for short periods of time), but he would never attempt to take them out. He would rather just stay in. I think one time he took one of them to Home Depot. I on the other hand, take them EVERYWHERE on my own. But I guess i just feel comfortable out with them and he doesnt. I hope when they get a little older he will start taking them out by himself!

Up until recently NEVER, he didn't see the point. Lately he has been taking them out more and more. He even took them food shopping. He says he needs to get better at it

Honestly, its only since I went back to work when the girls were 15 months did my DH 100% step it up! Now, 6 months late, he takes them to his aunts house, food shopping, my moms house. He been amazing!

That is an easy question to answer - never. LOL
He didn't really start taking DS out alone until he was well over a year.
Doesn't really bother me though because he has no problem hanging with them at home while I run out to do things I have/want to do.

and my twins are 21 months old and DH has never taken them out alone either! he'll take one at a time but never both together!

My twins are 6 months and my DH never took them out by himself yet. He did take my DS out to the park by himself, but I met him there after my DD doctor appt. I think he would freak out if he was out with them by himself and they were both screaming or something. He is a great dad, but I just don't think he is ready yet.

my twins are 2 1/2 and DH never takes them out. He has taken my older son and one twin out a few times.
Oh ..... when i had pneumonia he took all 3 to the park and mcdonalds, i forgot about that

DH is A great father and is really good about being home with all 3... But never takes them out alone. Once he took them to his moms alone and the other night I forced him to take them for a walk to get them out of the house.... but in 13 months that's about it. I don't think twice about bringing the 3 of them to the supermarket, park, target, library etc....alone.
