It depends on what type of formula you need. We started out with regular formula but now a similac Alimentum because of stomache issues. It cost us for one baby about 150- or so week.
When figureing it out I am told that they should never drink more then 32oz in one day.
Up until 4 months they were drinking 30 oz.
Now they drink about 20 but only one of them is on this formula.
This isnt bad...it's the daycare that will kill you. I am a stay at home mom.

I use the BJs powder which is a large container (45oz) for $20. It usually lasts us about a week. So in a month that would be $80, maybe $100. Diapers I get through Amazon Mom. Although I am doing some experiments now...tried the BJs wipes, hated them. Trying the BJs diapers now but use Pampers or Huggies for overnights (usually Pampers). We spend about $180 a month on diapers (but that includes my mom or mil usually buying some also...even though we tell them not to).
Honestly, it's not as expensive as I would have thought. Not that I'm saying it's cheap, but I thought it was going to be much more.

No help from me on formula since I EBFd my twins.
But, just last week I was at BJs and needed diapers. I will only use Pampers (have tried other, cheaper brands but never liked them).
A case of 175 diapers was $34.99. I had a $4 off BJs coupon and a $2 off Pampers coupon. I bought 2 cases of diapers in total. So forget the coupons I spent $70 on diapers and it will last me about 5 weeks. My girls are a year old and each typically goes through 5 diapers a day (so about 70 diapers a week x 4 weeks = 280 diapers a month).
But when they were little they were going through about 8-10 diapers each a day. But then again, the NB and size 1 diapers come in larger quantities.
Enough rambling, you get the point

Basically this for my girls I EBF so I'm no help with formula. Thankfully we use Luvs which are a little less expensive then the other diapers. So at Bj's with their coupon and my coupon i spent $40 (i think) on 2 cases.
When I was prego, I started buying cases of luvs, so i didnt feel it is much now and it has worked.. What I should have done though was buy myself gift cards incase the diapers didnt work out.. They are also easier to store. LOL

I have 5 month old twins. We use Enfamil Infant and buy 2 refill packs a week and some stays with us and some with daycare or my moms house. The refill packs in walmart are $33 a box and I usually have a coupon but lets just say $66 a week so $264 a month.
Diapers I am not even sure. I got a ton for my bridal shower in many sizes and everytime I see a good sale I always pick some up. I always use a coupon on top of the sale price. BRU had pampers a few weeks ago buy 2 boxes get $25 off plus I had a $10 coupon that pampers sent me. We go through about 8 diapers a day per girl so that comes out to 448 diapers per month.

I used Pampers in the beginning and supplemented BF with Enfamil, but lately I've also been using Target's up&up brand for both formula and diapers to save some money.
Show this website to your DH!  Baby Cheapskate It's been a huge help in finding the best diaper/formula deals in stores and online, plus they tell you which coupons to pair with the sales
