So nervous about getting too excited
I'll be 9 weeks on Wed. I'm so nervous that we are finally beginning to get excited. Despite the previa, the babies are doing well, measuring ahead of schedule by several days. I'm not sure if the possitive thinking is a good thing or a bad thing because we could be setting ourselves up for dissappointment. I live for our next appointment for reassurance that they are on and I'm always terrified that it won't be ok all of a sudden. I know I'm just a paranoid nut but I feel like we have come this far so to lose it all would be too devastating to handle.

I can 1000% relate to this feeling. I don't have much advice, except that no matter how we feel, whatever will be, will be.

Re: So nervous about getting too excited
Thanks! I don't know what I'd do if I didnt have appointments every other week plus OB every 3 weeks (so basically once a week except one week I'll be left in the lurch).
I also think I'm nervous because we are telling DHs parents this weekend. My parents know about the ivf and pregnancy, but we dont plan to tell DHs parents about ivf (too judgmental about too many things so we aren't taking chances of them saying something and us disowning them )
I know they will be super excited and I don't want to let them down. I really wish I had a Dr apt this week too

I think it will work out just fine... deep breath, keep busy so you get too tired to think at night. I know my brain is on OT at night and this house can't get clean enough
So happy to be in the club with everyone

Re: So nervous about getting too excited
I STILL feel the same way. I just think that IF robs us of pregnancy joy. I go to the OB one week and the Peri the next. I need both Dr.s to literally hold my hand. I think that's just how it's going to be. I still haven't told some of my friends yet. I keep saying "one more week." It is what it is. I take one day at a time and try to remain positive and enjoy my belly growing.
