snacks?

I recently was at the doctor for a well visit- my DS just turrned 7 months old.

The doctor told me that I should now up him to 3 meals a day, and 2 snacks a day. Can someone share with me a schedule of what your day looks like- as far as what you feed your LO.

I am not sure what is considered a snack!
