telling work today- UPDATE @ BOTTOm!
I have a meeting with the principal of the school I work at today. I decided I am going to tell her.
A little background: I work for a LI public school but I'm contracted out to private school (for the past 2 years). For next year the principal of the private school plans on hiring me to work for them. I've been really excited about this new opportunity.
I haven't signed the contract but I decided to tell her BEFORE I do. I know some people would think this is crazy and I'm not protecting myself, but I want to be open and honest. I don't want her to think I am misleading them.
So I'm going to tell today....I'm nervous!

I've been dying to hear how it went all day!!! I work at a couple of schools too (I do something similar) and I want to know how you did it! What did they say?????

Everything went GREAT! My principal is very happy for me. I got my letter for next year offering me the job. I assured her I would only be out the 6 weeks (which I plan to be).
I'm so relieved!!
