Coming Home Outfits

Hello,
I am expecting in Mid- August/Early September a boy and a girl. I was wondering what kind of outfits do you suggest for the kiddies to wear going home? Most importantly, what size do you suggest? Currently, they are both average size for twins. I appreciate your suggestions. Chat Icon

Re: Coming Home Outfits

My girls always measured big in utero until my last growth sono. I had bought them coming home outfits in a newborn size. But they were born (4.12 and 6lbs) and newborn was SWIMMING on them. I should have gotten premie.

mine were big at 6lb 3 oz and 6 lb 9 oz and they were swimmming in newborn

i would get premie

also i would get a sleep and play still - mine were born early august but had trouble maintaining temp. I had them in a short sleeve onsie and a sleep and play outfit most days the first month or so

I had brought with me 0-3 since my boys were both 7lbs & thought that it would be fine. It turns out I was wrong. I really needed newborn. I would suggest bringing both because you never know. Then again I believe Newborn is the best route. My guys were only in that size for 2 weeks though so dont get too much. Good Luck!!

Re: Coming Home Outfits

Thanks everyone! Right now they are both 1.5lbs each, I guess I will wait until July to see how much they weigh and make a decision. I am leaning towards newborn as they will grow into the cloths. Perhaps short sleeve onesies with a cute saying.
