If you own a mini van, have twins and are or had another DC?
Did you move both twins to the back row and if they were under 2, did you keep them rear facing until the were two? The twins will be 20 months when DS is born. I will 100% not turn them around before they are 2 so they will be rear facing. Just wondering how difficult it will be to get them in and out of the van. Also, i have severe anxiety about them being in the back row. Do you have your kids in the back row? How did it work out? I think i am more concerned about god forbid we are ever in an accident, they are so close to the back and so far away from the front I know i have no choice but to put them in the way back but i still have anxiety over it!

Thanks, but we have the Chrysler town & country. It cam standard with a DVD player and was the best price. I didn't think I'd have such severe anxiety about putting the twins in the back

Re: If you own a mini van, have twins and are or had another DC?
We moved the twins to the back row about 3 weeks before the baby was born. They were 22mo. We have them facing forward. We put the baby in the middle row on the passenger side. I was super worried about moving my babies to the back row (somehow thinking it was moving them both figuratively and literally----like the baby would now be the priority or something.) They adjusted fine!!!!!! It really was just a worry in my head. This was something I was really stressing over too.

Re: If you own a mini van, have twins and are or had another DC?
Well my single child was older, so he was in the third row forward facing (26 months when twins were born). the twins are in the center rear facing still at 21 months.
I think its going to be pretty difficult to get one in the third row rearfacing. It will be impossible with 2 rear facing in the third row. I would do baby and one twin rear facing in center row and try one rear facing in third row.

Thanks everyone! I just feel that if i only put 1 in the 3rd row, the one i do put back there will be jealous or feel kinda left out. That's why i was going to put the twins both back there. I think my anxiety is more over the fact that god forbid we get hit from behind, they are so close to the back

Re: If you own a mini van, have twins and are or had another DC?
Similar to Julie, when the twins were born my DS was already 2years9months. He went to the third row forward facing and the twins occupied the middle row (still do).
I agree with Julie. I'd put one in the 3rd row rear facing and leave the other in the middle row with the new baby.
If you are worried about jealousy just switch it up. My twins are only a pound apart and 1/4inch different in height so they could very easily use either car seat.
And no matter what, I feel like those car seats (and mini vans) are super safe!!

Thanks! I'll think about only putting 1 back there, but i wont be able to switch it up. We don't have gender neutral carseats and i'd hate to put DS in a pink and Gray carseat, LOL! I think i am just super anxious!
