Pediatric urologists... Wasnick, Hensle, Hanna, Gitlin or Palmer?
Those are the names my doc gave me for me to bring my son as a precaution since there seems to be reattachment issues.
Of those docs, who do you recommend? TIA!!

Wasnick is highly recommended by many people I have coem across. We had an appt with him to do DS circumcism since we did nto have it done at the hosptial. I cancelled it but only because I am not comfy putting DS under for it at 5 months.
We are goign to decide later if we really want it done. If we do I will be making an appt with him.

Palmer did my son's recirc and attachment and we LOVED him - he was great.

We've seen Palmer and Gitlin for other issues (not related to circumcision) and they were both nice and knowledgeable. they are same practice.
we also saw dr. Hanna many years ago for my older son. He didn't take our insurance, so we didn't do anything with him outside of the consult.

Palmer!!! He did my sons re-circ and it came out GREAT !!!
ETA: get as early in the morning of an appointment as you can. I did not once and waited about an hour because he was backed up!! He will answer questions and I never felt rushed, but that's how he gets behind.

Cannot speak for circumcision issues since our DS is intact but Dr. Wasnick and staff were great with our DD's issues...

Ollie was recircumcised by Dr Palmer last week but we've been seeing him since last year. I can not say enough things about him. He is wonderful!

I made an appointment with Dr. Wasnick... I tried Gitlin and Palmer, but were shocked they didn't take my insurance. I have good insurance, too.
I have heard a lot of good things about Wasnick, so I'm glad we'll be seeing him. I'll keep u posted! Thanks!

ive heard good things about wasnick. my sitter used palmer and i used gitlin. great reviews for both.
i know its an upsetting thing to have to put your DS through but trust me its worse on you than it is on him. DS had to have his circ corrected in April and surgery was a breeze! Gitlin preferred to wait until he was almost 10 months to be put under. when i brought DS home he was crawling around playing like nothing happened. the healing process was fast and easy and DS never acted like anything was wrong. when he grows up, he'll never even remember getting this done. Try to think positive about the situation, like i said before, its so much harder on the mom then it is on the baby.

Both my girls go to Wasnick. Cannot say enough good things about him...he is AMAZING and will spend hours explaining/showing/discussing with you if you want to. Which is wonderful, but also results in LONG waiting room times. We usually wait 1.5 hours at least...it's tough  but he is WELL worth it!
Obviously I don't have info on your specific issue, but you will be in great hands!

We had to bring DS to Dr. Wasnick twice. He was amazing with him, and with us. He explained things well, was reassuring, and even had a sense of humor! I've also heard all positive things from others who have used him. Good luck!
