Kitten found
Hello all, I'm new to the board but I have friends on here and I know that everyone here is very helpful to others.
I found a kitten tonight in my father in laws backyard. He's small, eats wet kitten food (I bought a can) and is currently sleeping all wrapped up in a cozy towel in my apartment. I cannot keep him and I am finding out the hard way that shelters will not take him unless I get him "aged" and he's 8 weeks. Also I've learned that shelters (no kill of course) have waiting lists. EEK!
If anyone out there is looking for an adorable black tuxedo kitten with blue eyes and a spunky personality can you please FM me?
(I don't even know if I'm allowed to post this on here, fingers crossed. I really need the help).
Thanks all you pet lovers!

Re: Kitten found
I shared on my facebook page. If you have facebook that would be a good place to start as well. Kent might take him. Good luck to kitty!

One of my rescue friends suggested trying here:
Guardians of Rescue
also...would you be willing to transport the cat to NJ? I have a contact there.

Re: Kitten found
I would be willing to drive anywhere on the Island to drop him off to a loving home but I can't go all the way to Jersey. I know it's really not THAT far but I just got back from my honeymoon (yesterday) and I have to get back to work ASAP.
Thank you for the information.

Ok, no promises here... but, where in NJ would this be? If it is near my friend and I can coordinate dropping of the kitten and visiting my friend, I might be able to help. Again no promises. Let me know.
