I think it's ironic that you JUST post something about bullying, asking how to handle it.
And here YOU are calling up old posts of candy girl acting like the bully you are ASKING about?
Now THAT'S irony!
Frankly, we have no idea if this woman is sick, has problems, whatever. And again, in her most dark days all you can do is pull up old posts and be nasty, mean and a bully.
The web omment posted about "suburbN housewives who are enjoying this" should embarrass everyone.
But you should be ashamed for YOUR bullying.
And I am not saying what the teacher did was right, I'm not defending her actions. But to taunt a person when she is down and low and at rock bottom seems to be a very low thing to do.
Always stand up to a bully, and stand your ground. Be confident in who you are. That's how to stand up to a bully.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
eta: I am not defending what this woman did. Period. She is wrong. I think that how some people are revel in her demise and taunt soeone who is probably very sick is very wrong.

Nope. No game on at all. She is right and I am called out.
I won't appoligise for standing up for people who are bullied. You will also notice that the person who called me out had to make a fake screen name.
I was bullied as a kid. My nephew who has lost both parents is bullied. I have no tolerance for people who spew one thing on one hand (how do you handle a bully) and spew what they do on other threads.
It's not right. And if all that got me called out, well I can live.
I have always been respectful. I have always told people to handle adversity with class and dignity. I will continue to do so.
I really enjoy this site, and the friends I have made. And anything I have encountered, I have approached carefully.
I will fiercely protect those I think that are bullied and won't back down.
So no. There won't be games.

I'm not sure why bumping threads that a person posted on would be considered bullying. To me it's pointing out either the hypocrisy of the accused or (what I consider more likely) the significant change in personality of Snickers. Granted I haven't read every thread that was bumped but that's how I look at it.
Even the thread on Janet, posting the posts that SHE WROTE, was considered bullying. In my book it only crossed to bullying when it started taking her poor spelling (which yes drove me crazy too) & her family.

We'll have to agree to disagree then... and you can stand up for child molesters all you want! I don't think Candy Girl is too worried about all the crap she has stirred (and abusing a minor!!!) she seems to be LOVING the attention on the news!!! How hypocritical and such a double standard in our society... because she is a woman we're supposed to feel sorry that she abused a CHILD... "what went wrong?", "what caused her to hit such a low point?", "but, she sounded so NORMAL back when she was freaking out about her dirty glasses/bum hand! what happened?"...... but if it were a male teacher who abused a minor - nobody would be worrying about what caused his demise... everyone would just shout "sick sick sick, lock the monster up!"
ETA: If you're so worried about me bumping 2 of her old posts, how are you going to deal with what she'll have to face where she's headed?

So.. it's bullying to poke fun at someone who abused their position of authority and had sex with a child? Why does she get a pass on public condemnation? Nobody hopped to the defense of Casey Anthony, nobody had an issue with reacting with disgust to the pharmacy shooter and it was okay to give a verbal smack down to the chick who plowed down that woman in Huntington when she was hopped up on drugs. Maybe THEY had issues too. Maybe they were nice people who just got drawn into desperate times.. in fact, I'd almost GUARANTEE that to be the case with most criminals, convicts and assorted creeps.
Is it bullying to try to drag the name of her accuser and his former underage girlfriend through the mud in an effort to somehow justify her actions.. because she doesn't seem to mind that her lawyer has taken those potshots.
Candy-Girl doesn't have to be HERE to see the maligning of her 'good' name in response to HER actions - it's EVERYWHERE and on EVERY forum that mentions her name. If she opens a paper, watches television or Googles her name.. she'll see it. If you plan on defending her as a poor, lost soul then you've got a lot of work to do and LIF is likely the LEAST of your worries.
Is it bullying to create this post SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of calling a member of this forum out for picking on a person who is a potential child molester? Did you stop to ask yourself WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES MIGHT HAVE MC09's hackles up about this particular case? Maybe she knows someone who was abused by a teacher and her tolerance is nil for this behavior as a result. Putting her name in the title of a thread, calling her a bully and trying to publicly shame her is okay? Couldn't you possibly have accomplished your goal to tell her that you think her actions are uncalled for by sending a compassionate private message letting her know how strongly you felt?

She seems too wrapped up in "fiercely" protecting and defending child molesters to realize she's a bully herself! Maybe she can rally behind snickers and become her prison pen pal... then she can write to her to share her feelings...
P.S. babymakin - I created the post to ask about bullied CHILDREN and how their parents have handled it... if you go back and read, nowhere in my post did I ask about "bullied" child molesters...
