If you have PIN STRAIGHT eye lashes, what MASCARA to KEEP the curl?

I use a heated curler, but I'm looking for a mascara to keep the curl a long time. Some seem to just immediately weigh it down & straighten it.

What do you find works?

The best thing for me is a PRIMER.
If I don't use a primer, then nothing works right.
I feel like with the primer I go from no lashes, to long, curled lashes in a flash.
It's like a miracle product for me.

I used to use one by Ulta but they stopped making it.
I tried one by Studio Gear and it was just eh.

So what I do now is buy Revlon Lash Fantasy Mascara- it comes with a primer on one side and the mascara on the other.
I just use the primer side then use my regular mascara over it.

Yes, it has the white primer on 1 end, mascara on the other.

As soon as I applied it, it immediately too out my curl.

I thought you could never have enough length too, but not it they are back to pin straight...so weird.

I do have a cover girl that keeps my girl, but I'm almost out & figured I'd ask for recs of something people here like.

I get my eyelashes permed & i love it. I don't have to curl them at all & it lasts for 2-3 months

I think it's an asian thing (don't quote me on that) but a few of my Chinese friends knew about it.

I go to this salon in flushing, it's only $25, doesn't get near your eye at all & I never had an issue. I am hooked on it lol

if you use waterproof mascara it will hold the curl longer because of the wax within the mascara

i just tried the YSL volume mascara and OMG!!! i didnt even curl them and what a difference!!

I heat mine and i use Great Lash Lots of Lashes. I've never gotten as many compliments on my eyes/lashes as I have since I've been using this mascara.

Not only are mine pin straight, but face down. I have tried so many, and learned that for me it is not only the mascara but the process. I currently use Maybeline LashBlast (it is not thick and heavy, so it doesn't weigh my lashes down). I have to first apply the mascara and wait awhile until they dry, I usually start dressing, doing my hair, etc. Once they're dry, then I curl them. It seems to work for me.

I have a mascara fetish. First i curl my lashes and then apply fairy drops mascara (from Japan, at sephora, had good reviews)...then i apply loreal false fiber to lengthen. The brush for fairy drops is odd, it is patented in japan, but so far, i am loving it.

What CG one do you use? I use Lash Blast 24 hour & I think it is decent , but not amazing at holdign curl.

I realized last night that I own 7 mascaras, so I am going to do show-down this week to tet for length, curl, smudge proof-ness, and durability (sometimes my mascara doesn't smudge, it just dissapears. )

For me, waterproof mascara is the only kind that will keep the curl. I use maybelline new York in waterproof any my eyelashes hold their curl all day, even through things like running to the car in the rain, sweating, or crying. And it comes off easily when I wash my face.
