Self tanner
Please recommend your self tanner. I want to use some on my legs so they have a little color for a wedding.

Re: Self tanner
If it's only for your legs, skip the self tanner and get Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs.
This stuff is AMAZING.
Self tanner just looked streaky and accentuated the hair follicles, etc on my legs.
This stuff covers everything, spider veins, etc and makes your legs look PERFECT.
Gives a nice tan glow, smoothes, I can't say enough about it!
I don't leave home without it!

Re: Self tanner
I thought of this, but never used it. I am so afraid of leaving this for last minute and not using it right. Does it come off at all? How long before occasion do you use it?
Also, how is it applied? Do you spray on and rub in like lotion? I just worry I will screw this all up right before I get dressed for wedding, but always wanted to try.

Try it a few days before then. But it's pretty easy to use and I'm a spaz!
It won't come off. Once dry it's water resistant. Even in the shower- you have to use a wash cloth to rub it off...it won't just roll off when the water hits it.
You use it right before you get dressed. Shave your legs, moisturize, let the mositurizer sink in for a while then apply it. Let it dry for a bit before dressing too
They tell you to spray it in your hand and then apply. (just wash and scrub your hands afterwards because they will be a mess!) Just make sure you do it by a window or door with natural light. I even do it in my yard! Because the first time I used it I did it in my bathroom, thought it looked great, then went outside and saw a TON of streaks and missed spots. So doing it in bright outdoor light solves that problem. Make sure you take the time to really rub it in well and wrap it around the bottom of your feet so there are no lines of demarcation. Also, buy the right shade for you skin tone- don't go too dark.

Re: Self tanner
Jergen's natural glow lotion works for me - I use it sparingly though so never had streaks or blotches. it's not immediate color though so you do need to do it a day ahead or so.

Re: Self tanner
Natures Gate Glow Lotion I have tried SOO many self tanners and hated them all!! I gave up and then saw this one and had to try it..it has been amazing. After one day I had nice color, after two I was very bronzed. NO parabens or animal testing which is very important to me. It also moisturizes which is nice. I am so excited to finally find a great product without all of the chemicals.
Ets: I have light skin but used the medium and it is the perfect color. No streaking/soaking into pores at all!!
