Re: Double Stoller...

I think i'm getting one of each. My dcs will only be 16 months apart so I have plenty of stroller time ledt (i hope!)

Re: Double Stoller...

I'm probably getting a side by side. I haven't loved any of the in-line ones I've seen.

Double Stoller...

I got an in-line one (the britax b ready) because I don't see us using it for all that long with DD. She'll be 21 m when #2 arrives, but DH is VERY against her being in a stroller for a long time. So I wanted something I'd feel comfortable using with only one child in it. I don't know why I have such a mental block against using a double with only one in it.

I should add that I don't live in NY anymore so I'm not doing anywhere near as much walking as NYers do. It's mostly car to place to car to house. :)

Re: Double Stoller...

im going with a side by side. my reason is bc when we go to places like a zoo or fair or something i dont want one of them not to be able to see whats going on bc they are behind the other one.

they make a lot of side by sides that fit thru majority of doorways now too. im looking into the joovy side by side one.

also, my friend as the inline one and she always hated having the front of the stroller so far ahead of her. said it was hard to steer and when she would go for walks she was always scared of someone hitting them when they turn a corner.

Re: Double Stoller...

Ahh this double stroller talk is making my skin itch. I'm only 8 weeks and I swear I've already devoted entirely too much brain power to this. I have the vista so technically I can use that as the double, but I feel like the bottom seat looks so squished. DD will be 21 months when the baby is born so I'm not sure how long she'll use a stroller for and I LOVE LOVE the Vista as a single. If I don't keep the Vista I'll probably do the City Select. I really like inline better.

Double Stoller...

ok maybe this is a stupid question (i haven't actually been to the stores to look at strollers yet) but can you put an infant car seat on the joovy or city double strollers with a toddler on the other side? tia!

No idea about the Joovy, but you can with the City Mini double and the City Select (wasn't sure which double you were talking about). If you have an infant car seat already, you can go into the store and ask the salespeople which doubles are compatible.

Im going w joovy sit n stand. They will be 34 months apart and DS only sits in his stroller from time to time. Most of the time wants to get up and walk around.

i'm thinking about that as well..they will be about the same distance in age and i'm thinking he won't want to be in a stroller all that much anymore.

I was so torn between the double or the sit and stand. We ended up getting the city select and DD who never sat in the stroller loves it!
