Hair help please - flyaway pieces

At my temples I have these shorter pieces that love to stick out...especially when I want them tame. I'm in a friend's wedding next month, and I'm doing my own hair. Are there any products that help tame this type of thing??

(I'm so hair clueless it's ridiculous...thanks for your help!)

Strong-hold gel and a toothbrush! Put the gel on the toothbrush, and brush the hair into place. Just don't use too much gel or it will flake off.
