Please pray for my mom in the ICU on her bday
She had a double stroke on Sunday, and is still in the ICU today. She seemed better initially(could lift her arm and leg and write) when she got to the ICU but its been getting worse and can't move it at all, and the speech has slurred. I'm pregnant and I can't visit her anymore since I got a cold, and have been getting high bp from the visits.

Thanks, they finally did another MRI and she's still got brain bleed(caused from the tpa), we just have to hope it stops soon cause its causing the right arm and leg to be numb, and her speech is slurred.

thank you, she just got moved to the step down icu......hopefully soon they can move her to the other hospital for rehab

A lot of stroke victims get worse before they get better... With therapy, she can completely recover. My MIL had a bad one when she was in her early 80's. She lost her speech totally. But with intense therapy, she was speaking again in 6 months like nothing ever happened.
