Did anyone NOT have GD? Update-ME!
I received the glucose to drink before my next visit. The doctor said that because I have 2 placentas, don't be surprised if it comes back positive. Do I have any chance?
Got the results, No GD or anemia for me!! Yippeeee!!! 
Also, the drink was not bad at all.. I had to drink 5 oz of the lime flavored one.. it tasted like a melted freeze pop!

Did anyone NOT have GD?
I failed the one hour test but passed the 3 hour. I never heard about the 2 placenta thing.

Yikes! They didn't say that to me about the 2 placentas when thy gave me the drink!
Wish I could get the test over with sooner! I go two weeks from tomorrow.

I had twins (identical/1 placenta). Failed my 1 hour by just a few points but passed the 3 hour no problem.
TBH - I think I failed my 1 hour because my appointment was at 4 in the afternoon and on my way there I had a giant chocolate milk shake

ME! I did not have GD. I was a little worried but my doc never said anything about it. I had my appt at 4. He just said not to eat 3 hours before. I think I had a bagel for breakfast and tuna for lunch at 12 and then I didn't eat.
I passed the 1 hour with flying colors. Although they found out at the test that my iron was low so I had to take an iron supplement for the rest of my pregnancy.

I had 2 placentas and I passed. My doc never mentioned the # of placentas having an impact on the test but that is interesting to know.
FWIW, my friend was pregnant with a singleton, super skinny, doesn't eat sweets, no history of diabetes, failed her 1 hr then passed the 3 hr. Lots of people fail initially.

Yes having two placentas increases ur chances of getting GD. I was lucky and did not have GD. I made it to 36 weeks 3 days. I got tested at 18 weeks, 24weeks, and 32 weeks.
I passed the 1hour each time

Every time I read anything about that test I cringe. That was the worst experience I had. I felt like every time. I drank that stuff was pure torture. Make sure u go with someone. I obviously didn't pass it and I am. Happy to read a lot of u did.

same here. I really didn't think it was that bad. The stuff doesn't taste great, but I don't think it was unbearable.

The checked me at like 17 weeks because of twins and family history. It came back fine. They will check again at 26 weeks or whenever the week is that they normally check. And now that I'm thinking none of my twin mommy friends had it.

i just got the call that i failed my one hour. I dont know how im going to get through the 3 hour. STINKS 
hopefully through all the pain of 3 hour, i will pass.
