I meant it more that it seemed SO self congratulatory...they seem like they are so full of themselves that the "brand" carries over to how they name their kids.
Naming the child after the maiden name, or the father is no problem. I agree.The "brand" is what bothers me.

I don't mind the incorporation of his name and actually LIKE Penelope Scott, but Scottland is just ugly.

So what's the big deal?
Also why would you get angry bc someone (even if it's Kardashians ) picked the same name as your kid's name. Who cares, it's a name, anyone can pick my DD's name , why would I get annoyed about it ? Even if it's a celebrity

I think it's because then people question you as to whether or not you named your kid because of the Kardashians. Personally, because I dislike them, it would be insulting to me if people thought that I named my kid after them.
