Baby slings
My son was a premie, and is too small for the Baby Bijon front carrier right now. I would love to get a sling to be able to carry him around in and still use my hands. Does anyone have any recommendations for a baby sling?

Re: Baby slings
Check out http://www.thebabywearer.com/ the women on those boards know everything there is to know about baby carriers!!
I didn't start using slings until my baby was older so my favorites (hotsling pouchs and sachi mei tais) wouldn't work for you yet.

Re: Baby slings
I can not recommend this enough- the ultimate baby wrap.
Dd loved it because it was soft and snug, unlike the snugli and bjorn.
The bjorn is great now, but for when she was tiny the wrap was the best.
I got it at BRU, you can look it up on amazon.

Thanks for posting this! I just bought one. If Ava likes it, I can totally see these being my new fashion obsession!

Re: Baby slings
Just a thought about the non adjustable slings... do they stretch out? There isn't a way of making the baby closer to you is there when the sling gets a little worn in? My fear with those is the baby not being as secure as I would need him/her to be.

I thought of this, too, but I figured it was cheap enough that if it doesn't work well, then I can always just donate it or use if for a little while when it does fit her size.

Re: Baby slings
got mine from Hot Slings. It was a reversible denim/khaki unadjustable sling, I preferred it that way. It is a more sturdy of a material that it has never stretched really. Hot Slings .com
The fleece one looks comfy too
Wow when I ordered mine about two years ago, the lady was making them herself, it looks as if her business (and family) has grown! and I think I paid $25 - she does have some nice fabrics though....

You have to measure yourself before you buy them. If you get the right size for you the baby will be close to you. They are really good about exchanging too if you order a size that doesn't work.

Re: Baby slings
I LOVE my sling! I have a few in different patterns by parenting Concepts, Sling Ezee. DD LOVES being in it since day 1 and at 3 months I can carry her in different positions. It's a blessing!
