Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

I know a few who didn't have any issues. More had some issues though.

So far I've only had minor issues and hope to keep it that way and be one of those shamu feeling 37 week prego ladies. Chat Icon

Who had a problem free pregnancy?

mine was pretty seamless. but i stayed off my feet, didnt fly/travel and drank a ton of water. i delivered at 36 +3 but that wsa because i thought i was developing pre-e....and i begged them to give me a 24 hour urine test. the test ended yup coming back a little elevated....and conservatively they decided to take the babies...but i honestly think i could have gone on to 38+ if i didnt push for the pre e 24 hour urine test.

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

Mine was pretty problem free.

I did have bleeding from weeks 5-12.

Aside from that, no issues until around 33 weeks.

I have a stressful job and a long commute too.

At 33 weeks, the fluid around baby A started to go down, so I worked from home until 36 weeks when they delivered me.

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

I did:). I will say though that I developed PUPPS towards the end which is not too common and is basically a horrible itchy skin rash from pregnancy that doesn't go away until delivery.

Other than that, I had no issues-no GD, no pre-e, etc. I never had morning sickness. I felt great my entire pregnancy. I stopped working at 26 weeks (pre-cautionary by my OB--I had no issues) and tried to make sure I rested as much as I could and drank all the time.

I delivered 2 healthyChat Icon Chat Icon at 37w3d. I can't believe they are 8 months old alreadyChat Icon !

Who had a problem free pregnancy?

I was very lucky and had no issues with my pregnancy...made it to my 36 week csection date with only 1 trip to L&D a few weeks before delivery date bc I felt pain in my pelvis....I didnt get GD or High Blood pressure....I only swelled up about 2 weeks before having them...gained a total of 45 lbs but couldnt wait to get them out!!! I was lucky I didnt have to work so I had no stress and was able to just relax....

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

I would say I had a problem free pregnancy. Did have a little blip of an issue when the peri thought both babies had a heart defect. But a 3rd fetal echo cleared all of that up.

I was scheduled for a repeat c-section at 38 weeks. At 37w2d I went for a routine growth sono and Baby A showed very little growth from my previous scan at 35w. So they decided to deliver the babies.

I went over to the hospital, had a c-section and both babies came out perfect and healthy. No time in the NICU and came home with me after 4 days.

I never had elevated blood pressure, cervical issues, bleeding, bedrest, etc. I am a SAHM. And at that time I was very busy running after a very active 2 year old.

TBH my pregnancy with my twins was smooth sailing compared to all the issues I had when I was pregnant with my son.

I had a reat pregnancy, felt exhausted most days towards the end. But problem free, worked up until the day my water broke and had them vaginally!
I think it was all the prayers throughout my pregnancy

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

None. I can honestly say I had NO issues/problems.

I also felt great. no bed rest, no bleeding. no sickness.
Worked to the day.

I went to a Bon Jovi concert in the rain, in NJ at 7 months pg.

I went to 38wks, a scheduled c-sec. I was at the beach that weekend, hit the mall the day before.

I also had a very uneventful pregnancy until I hit 30 weeks with unknown bleeding. I had the steroid shots. I was kept in hospital for 3 days under observation & released. I made it to 38 weeks with the scheduled C section date. My twins were born both over 7lbs. A was 7lb 12oz & B 7lb 4 oz. I was pulled out of work at 16 weeks though since I worked for USPS. I did however drive & walk the malls through my whole pregnancy...no bed rest & no GD.

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

I had problems *getting* pregnant Chat Icon but had a relatively easy pregnancy. At 1 point they thought both babies had a heart problem, but fetal echocardiogram ruled that out. From around 24wks cervix kept shortening, but not enough to warrant me being put on full bed rest. (I'm a teacher so as long as I sat most of the day/no stairs and then lay down when at home I was okay.) I worked up until the day my water broke (35wks1d).
I LOVED being pregnant and hope if there is a next time, that it's just as wonderful!

Re: Who had a problem free pregnancy?

While I was MISERABLE because I was so big & uncomfortable, technically, my pregnancy was problem-free! I had a little spotting from a clot at about 7 weeks, but it stopped & I was INDUCED at 39 weeks 3 days simply because they were big & healthy! Twin A was 8 lbs 10 oz & Twin B was 6 lbs 14 oz! Chat Icon Obviously, both babies came home with me.
