Towers Diner Bohemia
I heard it was a money issue. I went there 1-2 weeks before it closed - nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then we went for DS's graduation and it was closed. People at Airport Diner said it was money issue. I'm just glad it wasn't a health dept issue since I just ate there.
And actually, the breakfast at the Airport Diner was better

The money issue is that their lease was up and a bank is now taking over that space....cause you know we need another bank. My parents happened to go there the last night and my mom said it was terrible. All of the employers/employees were crying

That was our favorite diner. We've been going there for years... I used to work right next door for a while, and would go there for lunch.

oh man..that stinks...sorry to hear that.
When talking about going to either the tower diner or the airport diner, it is a standard joke in our house....we always say are you going to the aiport diner, or the diner near the airport.
This started when we were meeting friends for dinner...we were at the airport diner, and they were at the diner near the aiport....LOL
