Dont forget to schedule their physicals!
If you need to before school. Somehow I did and my Dr is into early October.

I know, I just scheduled my DD"s 6 yr old well visit (which I was supposed to do a month ago) and the earliest I could get with my preferred doctor was Sept 27th at 7:30 pm!

We do!
I scheduled back in May for an August physical because Saturday appointments are hard to get.

WE don't have to fill it out every year but I did get one with my son's report card and do have to for 2nd grade. I also need one for my son entering K. The well care as to be in that year so ifyou did their yearly checks then it is just a matter of getting the letter filled out. Which I have yet to remember to bring to my ped office and have been there twice in the last 2 weeks!

actually physicals can be done the month of your child's b-day this way it is consistent and spreads out pgysicals for doctors
NY state accept physicals within a year of enrolling in any program or sport - so once a year is fine and around birthdays is easy to remember

I just took my kids. I usually do in May (their birth month) but got sidetracked. They do not need to have any forms filled out for school this year (they are going into 1st and 3rd). I believe it's certain years that are mandated, like entering K, 2nd, 4th, etc.
