Any ideas for teaching 3rd graders about teh elctions process, the 2012 election, democracy etc etc
My principal has given us topics for the first 10 weeks of school all relating to the upcoming elctions. He said he will provide rading material as he findsit, but we are basicallyon our own.Obviolsy we have to align it to the CCSS.TIA

There's a great book called Grace for President for that age group. It even breaks down electoral college.

Hold a class election see how their votes match up to the actual election
