these are great! the milk seems to stay fresher longer, though i'm not sure why. They are dishwasher safe, so that's a plus as well.

My only worry was DH says something about the light making milk go bad faster ( thats why we always buy the cardboard instead of plastic milk containters) but 1) I don't know if its true 2) Its not like the milk is in there for months we need fresh milk every few days.

I've heard that too (about the light) but unless you leave it out of the fridge, its generally sitting in the dark. I think the light is more for it being on the store shelves for a while.

I you drink milk a lot it won't be a problem, but for us, I wouldn't like to not have the expiration date on the bottle. I'd have to put a note on the fridge I guess!

Then again I think with milk, the smell trumps expiration date

yea, 36 oz is small! and I just remembered... 64 oz = 1/2 a gallon.
