Help..Chiquito Is Peeing On The Carpet.
Chiquito has been very good so far, but yesterday he peed on the carpet while we wrere out. My DH went out today & when he came home Chiquito peed again. NOw I had taken him out this morning & he used the bathroom both #1 & #2. I don't get why he is doing this??? What do you guys think? What Can I do?

Was it raining?
I have heard that some dogs can be 100% housebroken and then rain or snow can mess up their training.

Yes, it has been raining for the past two days! WHat is that all about???? Google here I come!

If he keeps this up he may have a UTI, I would def take him to the vet to get a urine sample as a first step, especially if he is peeing in different spots
If he is peeing in the same spot it may either be behavioral or if you haven't used something like an enzymatic cleaner to really clean it out he can still smell it and will urinate there again...

he just went to the Vet about two weeks ago. They took a urine sample.  I'm hoping it's the rain. Poor thing I hate punishing him.

are you punishing while he is doing the action or after the fact? punishing after the fact won't help him stop urinating...he'll just get all the more confused

well dh takes him to where he does it and says "NO! BAD, BAD BOY!" poor doggie. I'm hoping it's the weather....Thanks for your help guys!!! I'll keep you posted on his pee-pee issues.
