WHAT IS A d&e?

I go tomorro to dr since I have been unsucessful in a natural MC. they want to scedule a D&C. I slighly feel pressured but I guess its the right thing. When I first got the sad news last week they tried to get me in the hospital the next day. That was just too soon... I needed time to wrap my head around the situation.

i have read on here and other places about a pill, but i believe my dr office doesnt go that route due to hemorhidge (cant spell) possibilities.

ive seen D&E on these boards and hope you can tell me what that is. I want this to be over with so i can start to heal, but want to make the best most educated decision i can.

A D&E is done when you lose the baby a little further along. I think after 12 weeks.

WHAT IS A d&e?

I was just googling the difference literally minutes ago- I think a d&c involves scraping and a D&e involves a suction device- either way they both sound awful. I know they are not as bad as they sound but I am still terrified. I will probably be about 12 weeks when I get mine but the baby stopped growing at 6.
