I live in Queens (which is technically LI ) my favorite thing is the diversity that you find no where else in the world

My favorite thing about living on Long Island (which hopefully I can return to soon!) was the bagels. There is NOTHING like a true Long Island bagel-store bagel.
That and Chinese food.  I miss LI food so much!
(Oh and even though I'm not close now if I won I would "redeem" the prize on Long Island so no worries  )

My favorite thing about living here is there's a little bit of everything. An urban feel closer to manhattan, lots of suburbia, and there's definitely some rural spots too! I like that you don't have to go far regardless of what kind of scenery you're in the mood for (except mountains, I guess, lol).

my favorite thing about living on long island is the beaches, there is nothing like walking on the beach with a beautiful sunset.

My favorite thing about living on Long Island is that I live within 15 - 20 minutes of anything I want or need...stores, parks, beaches...and most is closer!

My favorite things about Long Island are the beaches and the farms. Going to the beach in the summer and picking apples and pumpkins in the fall!

I am now in NJ, but I am from LI and my family is still there. My favorite thing about LI is a tie between the beach and pizza. There is nothing like a good slice of plain pie. The pizza here is just not the same. I also miss being able to walk to the beach to relax. My DDs birthday is in September so I would love to win the cookies to give out as a party favor. I think I would have the party the first week of October.
