Phone Weather Alerts
Just wondering if you had an iphone and if you have an emergency app that alerts to the flood warnings, tornado's etc..
The people with droids in my office are getting the national weather services alerts but those of us with iphones are getting nothing..
(For example on Friday, it alerted to the tornado in the area and to take shelter - just know there was a flash flood alert)

Phone Weather Alerts
I have a droid wiith Verizon and I get them. It's loud and scares the crap out of me every time !! it just started one day automatically. I know people who have droids through other carriers who dont get the notifications though. Maybe it's just a Verizon thing??

the first time it came up there was an option to get it to stop, so you might have by accident. IDK how to get it back on though, sorry !!

You have to have a WEA-enabled phone to receive the weather alerts, and the service varies by carrier (it's not just a Verizon thing). It appears you're signed up automatically but have the option to opt out.

I have a droid too.. But I get it though " the weather channel" app. I would think its available for iPhone too!
