OBGYN - NSU Manhasset
Does anyone highly recommend their OBGYN that delivers at North Shore Manhasset?? (**Preferably a woman**)
My current OBGYN is in Huntington where I delivered my first 2 but I now live in Manhasset so I think it's time to find a new dr for #3. Thanks in advance!!!

I go to Dr. Trongone. He is on Northern Blvd. in Manhasset and I love him. His office staff is extremely nice too!

I use to see Dr. Rohan when she was with Winthrop. She is now affiliated with NSUH. I think the number is 516-622-5100. She delivered my dd in 2007.

I am also a patient of Dr. Trongone. He is amazing! He delivered our first DD 2 years ago, and im due with #2 in November! I know you want a female, but he is truly the best! Many of the nurses on the L & D floor also use him as their doc...even the sono techs! That says A LOT!

I go to a practice with4 women and. One man. Dr Heddy Chung (delivered my DD) or Dr Wendy Fried. @ northern OB gyn on new Hyde park rd ,right off the parkways. 516-365-6100. They are all really great as well as the staff

Thanks for all of the info!!! Hmmm I have been hearing TONS of amazing things about Dr. Trongone...I might have to consider switching to my first male OB lol

OBGYN - NSU Manhasset
Dr. Gilbert at Dr. Klein's office in Great Neck. Dr. Klein is the head doctor at North Shore. I recommend him first, but since you would like a female Dr. Gilbert is second best.

I switched from my female Ob/Gyn in Huntington to Dr. Trongone and I really love him. I am going to be delivering our first baby at NSUH - Manhasset next month. So far switching doctors/hospitals has been a fantastic decision for me.

I actually disliked Trongone, for another perspective. --There were multiple visits where I saw a nurse only, which I'd never experienced with my prior preg. The office was also constantly crowded with hour+ wait times. He is the type of handsome that old ladies love though, lol. Like a game show host or something.

Wow. I am really surprised. I always saw him during all my appts. And I only ever had to wait a long time once (hour+) bc he was in a delivery. I delivered in November. Wonder if things have changed. But, yes you are right- I call him Mr. Big (from sex and the city) to my DH. He looks just like him!!!

my practice has 2 women & deliver out of north shore manhasset, but they are in Queens, so i am not sure if you would want to travel or not -- North Shore OB/GYN in Bayside

That's great to hear! I had a great experience at Huntington Hospital with my first 2 but it's just too far to travel to now.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that recommended Dr. Trongone. I had my first appointment with him this week and he is wonderful. So happy I decided to switch doctors!!!
