Not in Nassau, but Sew What's New on Montauk Hwy in West Islip.

Re: Quilt classes in Nassau County?
My mom's friend takes classes. I'll ask her where she goes.

Re: Quilt classes in Nassau County?
I went to the Quilting Bug with my mom to pick up something (my mom is a big quilter). I noticed they had classes and a large backroom.
My mom loves Sentimental Stitches in CSH, but that could be b/c it's close.

Re: Quilt classes in Nassau County?
My mom said she thinks her friend took the classes at the library (Massapequa Harbor Library)
ETA: I loved the Quilting Bug in Massapequa too. I thought they had closed down though. I pass there all the time since I live in the area but maybe and I thought it was gone.
They are super nice there. A few years ago a fellow LIFer was putting together a fundraiser for a little girl with cancer and I collected donations for her and the Quilting Bug Made a kid's quilt for free for raffle.

Re: Quilt classes in Nassau County?
There's a quilt guild on LI. Maybe they can assist. There's Sew Whats New, Sentimental Stitches and Pieceful Quilting. The Qyulting Bug does long arming and finishing. This was a while back.
Unfortunately it's not as popular here in NY as it is outside of the area.
What about The City Quilter? She's more contemporary.
