when should there be a heartbeat
Hi everyone. I was wondering, when should you see and hear a first heartbeat? With my 1st pregnancy my first appt was at 7 weeks with a strong heartbeat (ended in D&E) and my second pregnancy there was no heartbeat at 6 (I regret big time about not having them double check but you can't live in the past, right?). Right now I'm in between 5 and 6 weeks and am super nervous. I saw a fetal pole and sac last week and going again this Friday which will make me 6w2days since my last period. Then we're going on vacation for a week (UGH! so I will miss a week of appts).
My RE told me to relax and stay calm but after 2 losses (and a chemical in between) that is REALLY hard!!!!

we saw it at 6w 2d.... we had a sono and 5w 2d and could not see it yet (if that gives you any comfort!)

i too went on vacation a few days after finding out about our BFP and that week away was nerve wracking!
when i came back, i was 6w and we saw a sack and a fetal pole. i didn't see the HB until i was 7w3d
try to relax on vacation and enjoy your time together. I'm sure everything will be fine!

We saw a flicker at 6w4d but it was strong at 7w1d.
If you're pg, just go away and enjoy being pregnant. Stressing can't help the situation. Good luck!

We went when I was 7w and heard the heartbeat. Try to relax on your vacation. I know it can be hard but try not to think about it and just enjoy your vacation.

With all of my pregnancies we saw the hb a little over 6 weeks and heard it at 10 weeks.

we saw the hearbeat at 6 weeks + 3 days
i hope you get to see it too, but if you don't, don't over-stress about it - it's still early and you may have mis-calculated how far along you are

We didn't see a hb at 6 weeks...went back one week later and we saw/heard the hb!!

I know how hard it is and so sorry for all u have been through
With this pregnancy we barely saw the tiniest flicker of one heartbeat and 6 weeks
A week later 2 strong hbs,the diff between 6 and 7 is huge

We saw one at 6+6. We had one earlier sono bc of pain around 4+6 and we just saw the sac. HTH!!!

With my DD we saw it at 6w5d. With this pregnancy we saw it at the same time.
