preschool recommendations
I know it is late in the game but, we would like out DC to attend preschool in Sept. Can anyone recommend a preschool in Sayville, Oakdale, Bayport or Patchogue areas? Thanks a bunch

Re: preschool recommendations
My DCs aren't in preschool yet, but I've started my research....There are lots of preschools in that area, but you may want to call them soon because with Prince of Peace in Sayville closing, many of them are already full.
Ducky Pond, Patchogue - I really liked the tour but I was nervous that the playground was very close to the sidewalk on Main St -- I'm always paranoid about someone snatching DCs.
Kiddie Kampus, Bayport - my neighbor's DCs go there and she loves it
Creations, Sayville - pretty sure they're full but I've heard wonderful things about them.
Kasha Academy, Sayville - used to be in Blue Point at the Greek church but moved to Main St. Sayville. I don't think they have a playground area (outside time is important IMO)
Montessori in Bayport -- not sure how old your LOs are but I know some people who attend here. Some LOVE it and some really really don't like it all. Might be the Montessori concept they don't like, but one mom said they weren't reading to her DD and she pulled her from the program.
Tiny Tots in Bayport - seems to be a great program, not sure if there are openings. I know a lot of moms who have sent their DCs there and are VERY happy
Montessori in Blue Point -- I know two moms who are very happy sending their DS there, again I don't think they have an outdoor area

I know some people like the YMCA in Patchogue also and Kiddie Kollege of Patchogue. I don't have first hand experience with these places though.

My dd is starting the 2 year old program at the patchogue ymca. We just got back from open house ans I am so excites. It seems awesome. All the teachers are certified, the rooms are so nice and so clean. And they even go to gym class in a real gym with a real gym teacher every day. And it is very reasonably priced.
I have friends who send their kids to kasha a d really like it there alao
