Freaking News 12 and News 5 RANT
They both have been talking about how much teachers ask for in supplies! News 5 even had a panel discussing it. You know who was missing from the panel????
A TEACHER. You know somebody who can explain that the post-it notes they were complaining about are NOT for our personal use but are rather a very good tool for reading comprehension. That they allow students to take notes while they read their text books without ruining the textbook by highlighting.
SO FREAKNG FRUSTRATING
Thanks for letting me rant. I feel better now.

I never understand why they have panels without the people they are talking about. Makes ZERO sense, unless they are trying to sway the public in one direction.

It's crazy. Even if I add up all the supplies I buy during the school year, I doubt it even adds up to $180/child. Less than $1/day - not too bad.
