Jonathan Tropper's new book comes out today!
I'm going to meet him at a book signing after work. I'm nervously excited! He's going to be at the B&N on 82nd and Broadway.
I'm going to start devouring One Last Thing Before I Go as soon as I get it in my grubby paws!

I love his books.....did you make it to the signing?
Just saw this now. Yes, I made it! I was so excited :) He read a chapter from the book, then answered a bunch of questions...there must've been 150 people there! He's very similar to some of his main characters, personality-wise. I got a laugh out of him when I told him that I was reading This is Where I Leave You on our honeymoon and my DH was like 'Really? That's the title of the book you bring on your honeymoon?!'  
I read about 50 pages on the subway ride home, but I had to put it down...I'm in the middle of another book right now and I don't want one book to detract my attention from the other.

Jonathan Tropper's new book comes out today!
Just finished his new book this morning. It's the third one of his I've read and I liked it. I wouldn't necessarily say I "love" his books, but definitely like them a lot and plan to read more of his work.
To the pp-I'd say most of his books revolve around a main male character that's a little sad/confused about life/messed up in some way, and the relationships surrounding him. His writing is both witty and funny. Worth giving one of his books a read. Try the newest one (One Last Thing Before I Go) or This is Where I Leave You.
