Social Worker
I'm a social worker and have my masters but I want to branch out and do something else. I don't know what I would be qualified to do but I do like working with children and adolescents but I'm fine with doing something else not related to this field. I've been trying to get into the school system public or charter and it hasn't panned out yet though I do have experience. I've been in the field for 10yrs.. Help any suggestions????

Re: Social Worker
My agency frequently is hiring Master's level social workers for Service Coordinator positions for adults affected by TBI, complex disabilities/medical needs and the elderly.
We have 2 state programs we provide services under.
If you want more info, please feel free to FM.
If you can do this job it will qualify you to work virtually anywhere IMHO, as you are dealing with everything from entitlements and resources, housing, mental health, family systems work, discharge planning and medical social work.
And everything in between!
We sometimes deal with children as part of the family unit so that kind of experience is priceless as well.

Re: Social Worker
Gotcha. I misread your post.
I thought you meant a different population ;).
I've been having the same struggle for years.
