My belly's not going to spontaneously burst open, right?
Because that's what it feels like!! I'm picturing it in a Looney Tunes sort of cartoonish way - like the muscle & skin fibers are just barely holding together w/the TREMENDOUS pressure from within.
My 5 y.o. nephew asked a few weeks ago if my belly was going to explode. I'm beginning to think he's right!
Seriously, though, will there come a point where my body just can't stretch any more & it'll force me into labor?
I'm 33w3d.
I'd been mentally aiming for 38w. Now I'm thinking 36-ish sounds good.
aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

It definitely feels that way!!! I went to 37w4d and MAN by the end, there was nowhere for these babies to go ha good luck! It's so worth it in the end!! If you don't already have it in the house, get some anti-itch stuff in the house just in case... one day near the end it hit me like OMG and it was from the skin stretching soooo much

Re: My belly's not going to spontaneously burst open, right?
Lol it feels like my belly is made of lead. I swear by next week, I'll be crawling to the bathroom. I already walk completely bent over when I have to pee.
Thanks for the tip on the anti-itch. My feet & ankle skin are raw & itchy from being stretched by the swelling. So stiff too!
OH! And Jen, DH picked up Brest friend in clearance thanks to your tip too!!! Thanks!!

I think the babies are now growing faster than my belly. I expect to look down and see them ripping out of my belly button at any minute.

Exactly! They've identified the button as the weak spot & they keep ramming it!

I'm so glad you were able to get it! It's such a waste for $80, but for $25, definitely worth it! ha....
