31 1st grade students
20 are beginner esl
3 of those speak little to no English
1 selective mute
1 holdover
I'm stressed already

I could have used an aspirin just reading your post. That is a lot to deal with!
I've got some hurdles too and have had a tough start to the year. Hang in there and vent anytime.
