Gymboree classes
Does anyone have their LO in Gymboree classes? They are expensive but if they are worth it I will give it a try. I'm having MAJOR working mommy guilt and I want to have something fun to do with DD, she's 10 months.

Re: Gymboree classes
DD did it over the summer she loved it! I almost signed up for the fall classes, but they were so expensive. I looked around and found that a bunch of our local gymnastic places do similar classes for kids her age and for 100-200 dollars cheaper. I signed her up at one and she seems to love it just as much!

Gymboree classes
Hi. The one at the source is great! Miss Jenna is the best. I think that they are ridiculously expensive but they have deals sometimes. Right now they have open gym on Fridays from 5-7 for free, open to anyone. and i just got an email yesterday that they have an awesome deal --- $150 for 6 classes and 6 open gym sessions. It can be used anytime until 12/31. That is definitely worth it!

Gymboree classes
I took DS from 4 mos to 10 mos and loved it. Def expensive, but if you can swing it, give it a shot! I would go back, but the teacher we loved had to transfer, so now IDK what to do...

Re: Gymboree classes
I started when my DC were 9 months and I still go at 21 months. It is expensive but worth it if you utilize the open gym times too.

Re: Gymboree classes
Definitely great... But maybe too early at 10 months. You can do a trial class. We waited until DS was 20 months to enroll him. He really gets a lot out Of it.

Gymboree classes
I can't believe how expensive it is & I have twins. There is NO WAY I will pay that much. My guys are 10 1/2M old.
Drwife, can you tell me where you go at the gymnastics place?

Re: Gymboree classes
My DD has been going since she was 5 months and she LOVES it. We took the summer off since it is expensive and we had a busy summer, but we are back in fall and I do think it's worth it.

Re: Gymboree classes
I've been taking DD since she was 6 months old and she LOVES IT! (she's just shy of 14mos now) I feel like it helps her develop social interaction and she has so much fun playing, climbing, and now dancing to the music!
Having the option to utilize the open gym times they have is great too.
sometimes its raining, its too hot, or too cold out--and she's gotten sick of playing with all her toys..so gymboree really works for us.
Ps-as PP said-ms jenna is the best!!! (westbury gymboree)

I looked into and signed up for M.A.T.T.S in Syosset, but also looked into Gymnastique in Syosset, Progressive in NHP, and Hot Shots in Mineola. They all had the same basic set up for classes, music, dance, bubbles, and gym time. They were between 200-350 for classes. I took summer classes at Gymboree in Woodbury, which I really loved, but for 16 weeks in the fall they quoted me at 470. Hope this helps!
FYI: My daughter is 17 months, she was 14 months when we started Gymboree.

Re: Gymboree classes
I love it. We've been going for a year now. It's pricier than other places but you get more for your money. You could go to the open gym sessions 7 days a week if you wanted!

I have two boys though......so whatever you pay, I have to pay double. Drwife said she was quoted 470 for 16 weeks....so that means for me, $1000- that is INSANE!!!!!!!

Gymboree classes
We used to go, it was fun for DD. Now she goes to Tots on Tracks and I have to say I like it A LOT better. I like the structure and the teachers better too. AND it's almost half the price.

Re: Gymboree classes
I'm not sure what ages this is good for but my girl friend and her husband joined the gym, I think big Al's in mass or amityville, I can't remember which. She pays 10/kid per month for her 2 kids and they have their own mini gym to play in. It sounded great! Her kids are 4 and 5.

We have been going since they were about 6 months and my kids LOVE it.
They offer a twin discount of 50% off the 2nd child. You can also pay monthly instead which is what we are doing.
