Found a kitten
We heard a meow all night and couldn't find it. It ended up being in the engine of my neighbor's car. We got it out.
She asked me for food for it because she had none. We fed it some wet food and she/he ate. I picked the kitty up and he/she meowed like crazy. It's the kind of cry that is non stop. The kitten is very young..maybe 4 weeks and way too young to be away from momma. I'm so upset.
My neighbor is taking the cat to TOB shelter. It's supposed to be a no kill shelter. Please tell me they are really no kill. The cat may have some health issues so I hope they will give it the care it needs.
I don't have a pic but can get one. The kitten has not been checked out but is black with white paws and tuxedo. Adorable.

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that town shelters are NOT no kill. I'm praying that I'm wrong.

They said they are no kill. take a look at this little one.
One of my coworkers wants him. I told her to call them asap!!!
I hope it posts. It didn't. No clue. I will put it in my album.

It is likely that if the cat has health issues, it will not have a positive outcome

Tiny kittens like that have a higher chance of adoption so I have a feeling it will find a home pretty fast!

Hopefully your co-worker can adopt it. I know of a few friends who found kittens that were days old and abandoned by the mother, they got medical care and were fine. Maybe your vet can give you a discount so the cat can be adopted and not have to go to the shetler. They have so many already. Hopefully, there is a postive outcome and the kitten is ok.

My brother and his ex took in 3 kittens that my mom found in her yard. They were about 3 week old. They nursed them to health and kept them. When they divorced my brother took 1 of them. Billy is now 18 years old and has been in great health his whole life.
Hopefully someone will adopt this cat and give it a good home.
