just curious

I wanted to know if you ladies new you were having twins, or thought it might be a possibility based on how you felt. how soon into the pregnacy did u find out?

I had a feeling based on my betas. I also did the "string" test and it was showing and a ....so I kept teasing DH - but deep down inside I always felt like I would have twins (they run in my family so not a huge shock). We found out at 5w6d - first sono.

I also had an idea I was having twins based on my beta levels. I was confirmed by sono at about weeks.

We found out at our first sonogram at 8 weeks. We were REALLY surprised and I really didn't feel in any way different then the basic symptoms of pregnancy. However, looking back when i took the pregnancy test it was the day my period was due and the instructions said pee on the stick and wait two minutes for the results. Well i was still peeing on the stick and the second line came in so dark before i could even pull it out from under me. The doctor said that was because i guess the chemical the pregnancy test detects is double when it comes to twins. So that would be the only inkling i would of had, had i known.

The same thing. I found out at 6 weeks at my first sono. I didnt even have any pregnancy symptoms, and then I found out I was having twins.
