UPDATE...Anyone pregnant with 4 or 5 cell embryos?
After my July cycle ended up being canceled we finally made it transfer...had a 3 day FET yesterday. We transferred 3 embryos...1 @ 5 cell - grade AB, 1 @ 4 cell - grade AB and 1 @ 5 cell - grade BC. I was a little disappointed in the number of cells, but the embryologist said that the top two looked great and within normal growth limits and that frozen embryos grow at a little slower rate than fresh. They had originally been frozen as 2pns. I asked the doctor if she would let me transfer 3 instead of the 2 that they only wanted to and she agreed. The third one wasn't as good of quality, but I felt better transferring 3 instead of just 2. Now we are in the 2ww. Hoping that the Neupogen Dr. B put me on, does the trick in keeping this pregnancy if indeed I do get pregnant. I just wish that I would have had better embryos to work with. Anyone know anyone that has gotten pregnant with 4 and 5 cells?
UPDATE Sept 26...Ended up pregnant with an early HPT and early beta test :o).
Just got the call with my results from this morning. They are adding 400mg Prometrium at bedtime due to the drop in today's progesterone level (I am already on 2 1/2 cc PIO, 400mg suppositories TID). I will repeat my bloods again on Friday. So far, so good :o).
(today) Wed Sept 26...10dp3dt...HCG = 68.2, E2 = 325, P4 = 28.9
Mon Sept. 24...8dp3dt...HCG = 25, E2 = 340 & P4 = 64
Sun Sept. 23...7dp3dt...+HPT
I'll keep you all updated!!!

Re: Anyone pregnant with 4 or 5 cell embryos?
When I went for my ET, I was talking with Sandra at Dr. B's office just because I was so worried about the quality and she told me that she transferred one 4 cell embryo and it stuck! Hang in there, the wait is the worst part.

Are they 3 day embryos? If so, 4 and 5 cells is pretty normal. 8 is ideal, but that could be a matter of hours later.

They were frozen at the 2pn stage, thawed and then trasfered @ 3day embryo stage. The embryologist said that frozen grow at a little slower rate and that they looked good. I just hope that she wasn't telling me a story :)

We transferred three 2-day embryos (fresh) and now have 11 month old twins. It can happen!
