My heart hurts reading this story. I am so sorry for what your family is going through. Baby Quinn will be in my prayers. I believe in miracles and I pray Quinn will be one of them.

Just read your blog and my prayers are with you and your family. I also want to say though that it is such a testament to you and your DH as Quinn's parents that you are truly giving her and your boys, so many amazing and beautiful experiences. That through the pain and anguish you must inevitably at times feel, you are able to move forward and embrace your lives and hers. I hope that makes sense. You are awe-inspriring - I'm sure it's not what you set out to be, but through your blog I believe that you can help and are helping so many parents who are faced with the prospect of losing their child.

i am completely overwhelmed by your blog. Your strength is so incredible .. What an amazing family you are. I can barely type I am so amazed at what you are doing and how you are handing this with such grace. There is nothing I can say to even possibly relate to this, i dont really know what to type but please know that I so devastated for your family. No one should ever have to go though what you and your family are going thorough. My heart hurts so painfully for you. Continue your wonderful quest with the strenght that you have given it...you have a lot to teach us all...you are absolutely incredible

Oh wow - I'm not sure how this got bumped  but what a nice surprise, to get a bunch of emails directing me back here to see your kind words.
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers and awareness of Quinn and NPA. Thankfully she's still great - happy, smiling, sweet as can be - so we're able to enjoy her pretty easily.
Please continue to follow the blog - the best we can do for her is tell her story, since she won't have a chance to do so herself.

Eileen I have to echo the sentiment of everyone else on this thread. You are one amazing woman!
Whenever I see your name, I clearly recall your wedding and the horrendous storm. I remember feeling upset for you but YOU were NOT upset!
I read your blog and I think Quinn is just the cutest. I love the pictures from her baby naming - she is beyond adorable!!!
Always praying for your strength - from a fellow '05er.

Eileen, I have been reading your blog regularly and I am just amazed at your strength. Quinn is a lucky little girl to have such an a wonderful, loving family. I love reading about her adventures. The blessing ceremony sounded just perfect. I love the meaning of her name.
