Riding boots for Wide Calf
I really want to get a pair of riding boots this season. I tried last season but couldn't find a decent wide calf boot. The ones I found were imitation leather and overpriced for what they were. Any wide calf ladies have luck finding nice looking wide calf riding boots?

Try Macys.com, I found a few nice pairs online. Some cost more than others but I think they are having sales now where u can get up to 20% off. I don't know if they have the wide calf boots in the stores.
Also my sister found wide calf boots on Amazon last year, she said they were reasonably priced.

David Tate makes great wide calf boots. I would also try plus size stores/websites...Lane Bryant, Avenue, Roamans, Torrid, etc.

Hi! I don't post that often, but saw this post and wanted to reply. My mom has a website that is devoted to Wide Calf Boots - it is www.WideWidths.com. She has a HUGE selection of riding boots and every other type of boot you can imagine (over-the-knee, dress boots, wedge, etc) - all for women who need wide calf boots. She has a gorgeous collection this season.

Your mom's site looks cool. I used zappos.com. They have a section where you can list the actual measurement of your calf at its widest point. They will tell you which boots match your calf size. It was a fantastic feature because I did not waste my time ordering boots that would not fit me.

WideWidths.com lists the calf size for every single foot size and it's much easier to find a boot. The site also has more calf sizes available - Wide Calf, Extra Wide Calf, Super Wide Calf and Super Plus Wide Calf (up to a 24 3/4" calf!)

Bass outlet. I got a pair for 40 bucks yesterday they were having a crazy sale. Amd they carry wide sizes

I only find wide calf boots at the Plus size stores. Torrid or Avenue.

Riding boots for Wide Calf
All I want is to wear a boot that fits my calves! My legs below my knees are so short that widest part of my calves is lower than the opening (does that make sense?) I went to try on extra wide calf boots yesterday and Avenue and they all stopped zippering up like half way. I need to find a boot with a shorter shaft -- not knee length. Knee length boots go past my knee! Sooo annoying!
