Moms of 3
We're TTC #3.
Would you rather have 2 summer months off and the first three weeks of September (the beginning of the school year) OR one summer month and the first 2 months of the school year?
It'll be a lot of adjustment so I'm trying to figure out which will be easiest when you're trying to juggle 3 kids.
TIA!

Re: Moms of 3
I would opt for the one summer month. You are not going to really want to keep the newborn outside, bc of the sun, heat and the damn mosquitoes.
Just my thought!
Good luck! 3 is great (so is 4 )

I was struggling with the same thought process when we started planning for TTC #3. In the end, I figured it didn't matter much. I got my BFP last night so it looks like if all goes well, I will have two summer months and the beginning of September! (I might sign my kids up for camp or something so they aren't stuck in the house all day with me.) Good luck!!!!!!

Congrats
Both my DS's will be in school for 3 hours/3 days a week. Their pre-school continues thru the summer. So I'd definitely have some down time.
So excited for you. YAY!

Re: Moms of 3
I started for #3 in Dec. waiting a late summer baby. It ended up taking 8 months to get pg and we had a late March baby. I actually really like that time of year. I have 2 spring babies and 1 summer and I hated having a summer newborn. I felt like I was always stuck inside, especially with another child who wanted to be out.

My #1 and #3 were March babies and I LOVED having spring babies. You're inside with the newborn when the weather is still cold/damp but when the baby is old enough to be out and about, the weather is nicer and you can take walks, go to the park, etc.
#2 was a late fall baby and being inside all winter was rough with a toddler!

Re: Moms of 3
I just had my third baby, and he was born on July 29th. I had one full summer month with the baby here, and a month and a half off from teaching. I go back on 10/18.
For me, the sooner the baby was born, the better. Being big and pregnant over the hot summer time was rough for me, and I was very happy when the little guy arrived three weeks early.
Good luck!!! Three is GREAT! Took us almost my entire maternity leave to adjust to the new routines, but now I'm good to go and out/about with the three of them.
