Sirius just billed my credit card over $80 without consent
Has this happened to anyone? I got new car last year and got three months free Sirius. When my free use expired, I was able to pay $25 for six months. THe six months is up and I did wonder why I still had service only to see they charged my credit card without my consent $88.

Yes twice! I screamed at them. One time, I got my next 6 months at 50% off. The next time they gave me a few dollars off. It better not happen again.

if you have it on file, they will bill it. you are better off invoicing them and paying the bill by mail. im sure in the fine print, it says it will auto renew just like any other service at the full price.

It says when u sign uP for those specials that when it is over they will auto bill u

I chose to be billed monthly when my free period was up. They actually check back in my call record and saw this. That was why they discounted me.

They did the same thing to me this week. I remember during the call they said once my 6 months was over they would charge me a new fee. They never did tell me the fee though. I called and first the lady says ok how about $83 for a year and I said no I think I will pass. She then says how about $24 for 6 months. Well I took it. It was very easy.

Happened to me twice. I had to fight with 5 people to get them to delete my credit card info..Im due to pay soon and haven't receivedan invoice yet...I may lose it if they billed my cc. I don't like the automatic payment because they always end up charging you more and I know if I call they will keep giving me the promotion pricing when I say Im going to cancel lol

I had this happen with a different company. You had to go online to stop the renewal. I would follow it thru - it said it was done. I'd check a few hours later and it was back, scheduled to renew. I wound up calling and they said there was nothing they could do since it hit already. I fought and they finnally got a supervisior to remove it. I printed out the pages that said it was cancelled. They even saw it going back and forth.

They are awful. A few years ago I had a Sirus for my home and my brother had it in his car. THey kept billing me for my brothers car every month along with my payment. My brother and I didn't even live in the same home anymore at that point! He had bought the radio for me for Xmas, but I had transferred monthly payments to me, after the first one that was gifted, but they transferred his payments too!! It was so frustrating that I ended up canceling my radio. I was done! Sorry for rant, but this post bought back bad feelings. Hope you get it worked out with them.

I've had companies do this before and I call and complain to my credit card company and let them handle all the dispute stuff.
Also, the CC company will remove the charges right away.
You need to be careful with any kind of subscription to anything because they ALL have this tactic, and 99% of the time, they make it impossible to connect with anyone to change the way your account is billed.

dh paid for the service every year and didnt even realize it. he sold the car like 3 years prior. they are horrible with keep billing. we were just able to get back 1 year.
wonder how they had your cc info

Once you pay by credit card they keep it on file. In the fine print, it says they automatically renew you and charge your card. We have fought with them so many times over this.
