Christening Party Locations
Looking tohave a luncheon (sit down or buffet) for roughly 35 adults and 10 kids.
Looking for rec's that are not over the top expensive. More like $20 range per person and somewhere near either Massapequa or Garden City
TIA

Re: Christening Party Locations
I've been to a few parties at Novita in Garden City and it was great!

Re: Christening Party Locations
My DS was christened at St. Joseph's in Garden City, ajnd we had his party at City Cafe on Stewart Ave in GC. This was in 2009, and it has since changed ownership and is now Puglia's. I was happy with it, but it may be more pricey.
Also, we had our rehearsal dinner at 7th Street Cafe, and we also had my sister's baby shower there, and it was very nice. You can be upstairs in the main room ina partitioned off area, or they have a private room downstairs that would be good for a group of your size if people can do the stairs (there's restrooms downstairs and everything). I think the service and food are good there, but again, not sure if the price point will work.
In the GC area, I've also heard good things about Davenport Press in Mineola. I slightly researched it for my sister-in-law's shower, and I know it got great reviews and people said it was very reasonable, but I've never been.
I've been to a few christening party's at Katie Daly's on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa. That may be more affordable, but all of the parties I've been to there have been buffet style, not plated lunches/dinners. So I am not sure how it would work with that option.
My sister had my nephew's christening at Il Feliz on Merrick Rd. in Seaford (in the movie theater shopping center). It was a sit-down meal with a party around your size, and she was happy with it.
Hope this helps!

Re: Christening Party Locations
Sergio's in Massapequa is in that price range.
They have a private room and the menu has many options for guests to choose from.
They will also work with you on cost of alcohol.
