Need help...please critique my 6 1/2 month old'ssched.

My ds does not have a set nap schedule during the week with my babysitter. I am starting to accept that it is difficult due to her having other children with different schedules/ages that throw off his day. His awake time is usually 3 hrs and takes about 3 naps a day that range from 20 min to 1 hr each.

I was thinking if I adjusted his feeding schedule/amount of food..maybe that would help. What do you think?

6-630 AM 8oz bottle
naps 1/2hr - 1hr

9-930 6 1/2 oz/4tbs cereal/fruit
naps 1/2 hr-1hr

1-130 -6 1/2 oz and one jar veg.
naps 1/2 hr-1hr

5-530 6 1/2 oz/4tbs cereal/fruit

730 4oz btle bed (usually STTN)

Any thoughts or recc.? Should I not be doing bottle with food? Am I giving enough food? DS is a big boy, 90th percentile in weight.

Thanks!!!!!

No critique for you because that is pretty much exactly his schedule down to the meals and naps! :) Sometimes I see he does a 2hour nap in the morning. My DS is 6.5 months too and in daycare so I wonder too about the noise level. Would love to hear what others have to say as well.

granted every child is different, but 3 hours of awake time for a 6 month old is a lot. I think at 9 months they can do 3 hours of being awake. My son is 9 months and can only do 2 1/2 hours at a clip.

We don't do food with a bottle. There is usually an hour to an hour and a half in between them.

But again, each kid is different. You just have to play around with things until you figure out what works best for him.
